A new COMPARE feature is coming to our product search results, giving buyers the ability to evaluate new products found on eBay against the same item sold directly by participating manufacturers or authorized distributors. Because the lowest price doesn’t always mean the best value.
Soon, when you find a new product through our search platform, you’ll see a COMPARE option alongside select listings. This feature allows you to compare the eBay listing with the same product offered directly by a participating manufacturer or distributor, creating a true apples-to-apples comparison.
The COMPARE option goes beyond price. Buyers will be able to review differences in warranty coverage, service and support, product assurance, and long-term reliability. Participating manufacturers provide direct links to their platforms, ensuring you’re comparing the exact same item, with pricing kept within an approved range for fair and meaningful evaluation.
